On May the 6th, Yi Xin’s paper entitled ‘Compound-specific radiocarbon analysis of benzene polycarboxylic acids for source apportionment of polyaromatic organic matter in ambient aerosols‘ was accepted for publication in Atmospheric Environment. As Prof Orjan Gustafsson of Stockholm University commented, that this is an important contribution to tracking BC substances in the atmosphere; while, we are preparing for a more powerful next one. Congratulations!
From Nov.15 to Dec.21,2022, Yuwei, Yingjian and Chuxin conducted simultaneous sample collection and observation of POPs and POM every day and night at three sampling sites in GIG, Boluo and Heshan Atmospheric Supersite, respectively. Pingyang and Weiru were in charge of CO2 collection and dry and wet deposition in GIG. A total of 737 air samples and 30 deposition samples were successfully collected during this meaningful campaign. This beautiful project logo was designed independently by Weiru and Pro.Zhang also inscribed this logo. (Images 1 below) Let’s enjoy the fascinating scenery captured by our colleagues while sampling!
