On March 24, GIG announced the awards for best scientific achievements of 2022. The group’s serial work on the dual-carbon isotopes of diacids as a powerful tool to explore the sources and formation mechanisms of aqueous secondary organic aerosols (aqSOA) in China was selected as one of the three top annual achievements. Congratulations!
Buqing’s new paper entitled ‘Fates of secondary organic aerosols in the atmosphere identified from compound-specific dual-carbon isotope analysis of oxalic acid‘ was accepted by Atmospheric Chemistry Physics (ACP) for publication. This is an accompanying paper following our Nat. Comm. paper, with more emphasis put on five typical cities in China. Congratulations!
Haoyu’s paper ‘Mapping the contribution of biomass burning to persistent organic pollutants in the air of the Indo-China Peninsula based on a passive air monitoring network‘ has been accepted by ES&T for publication, on January the 5th 2023. The paper was also selected as a supplementary cover story of the issue. (Images 1-3 below)
