During 30th June and 1st July, the group organized a series of project workshop in Espring Hotel Guangzhou, proposed projects including ATMSYC (有毒有害大气污染物环境风险管理体系研究), LUR (基于土地利用回归模型的城区空气污染暴露预测智慧平台与应用) and SCP (南方污染观测与研究计划). We had the first full day of in-depth discussion on the further implementation of ATMYSYC. Invited guests include Prof. Tian Chongguo (田崇国) from Yantai Institute of Coastal Zone Research, CAS and other key members in Project 4 and 5. They are Prof. Lai Senchao (赖森潮) from South China University of Technology, Prof. Zhang Yongbo (张永波), Prof. Liao Chenghao (廖程浩) and several researchers from Guangdong Provincial Academy of Environmental Science.
The kick-off meeting of UK-Guangdong urban innovation project (LUR) was held on the morning of 1st of July. Attended stakeholders include Prof. Chen Duohong (陈多宏) from Guangdong Environmental Monitoring Centre and Dr. Fengbin (冯斌）from Guangzhou Bojin (博进) Information Technology Co., Ltd. We developed a detailed project plan and division of work. In the afternoon, the SCP was also discussed on its compulsory tasks and optional customized studies for the countries along the 21st-century maritime silk road.
