Xiaofei’s new paper entitled ‘Ship emissions as the largest contributor to coastal atmospheric black carbon at a receptor island in southern China‘ has been accepted for publication in ES&T Letters; and was selected as a supplementary cover story by the editors.

Adeel Mahmood came to visit us on March 25-27th. He worked in the group from 2013-2017, as a visiting PhD student and then PIFI PDRF. He was appointed the head of department of environmental sciences in Government College Woman University of Pakistan. It is very nice to see him again after 7 years!
On January 25th, Vahab made his PDRA final report over a group of professor panel members. Included in the panel were Zou Shichun of SYSU, Tang Jianhui of YIC, Li Jun, Hu Jianfang and Song Jianzhong of GIG. Vahab has been working as a postdoctoral research fellow for almost 5 years and contributed to our institute. Now he plans to go back to Iran and find a job to start his new journey.
