On Dec 21, Wang Xiao, Zhao Xuan and Liu Yi came to say farewell to group staffs. Despite the COVID-19 situation, we took pictures with nice PhD and supervisor gowns. We wish them all the best in their future carrier and a happy new life!

On Nov the 18th and the 22nd, three girls of the group did their PhD viva, respectively. For Liu Yi (刘艺，on the 18th), the assessment panel members included Profs Li Xue （李雪） of JNU, Yang Xiaofan（杨晓帆） of BJNU, Hu Weiwei, Lin Mang（林莽） and Zhang Gan (chair); for Zhao Xuan (赵轩，the 22nd), there were Profs Yin Hua（尹华） and Mo Cehui （莫测辉）of JNU, Chen Yingjun of Fudan-U, Li Jun and Zhang Gan (chair); and for Wang Xiao (王晓，the 22nd), there were Chen Yingjun of Fudan-U, Zhang Yanlin of NJUIST, Tian Chongguo of YIC, Luo Chunling and Zhang Gan (chair). Congratulations on the 3 new Doctors!
On April 24-16, several group members including Gan, Guangcai, Jun and Jin Biao attended the SETAC A/P Focus Meeting on environmental pollution and health along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road (MSR), of which the key purpose was to bring scientists from both developed countries and developing countries to discuss about and co-design research programme. We met many familiar names/faces including Tom Harner, Kevin Jones, Pauzi, Rainer Lohmann, Joan Grimalt and Lidia Morawsk etc. The meeting ended with great success, achieved all the expected goals.
In particular, the group of 4-beauties, Yazhou, Jiayi, Shizhen and Liu Xin played key roles in the organization and processing of the meeting.
And Bolong, Liu Yi, Ji Yun and Ruiling devoted greatly at the airports to welcome/guide the arrivals, very hard-working!
