On March 18, Pingyang平阳’s paper ‘Drivers and implications of declining fossil fuel CO2 concentrations in Chinese cities revealed by radiocarbon measurements‘ was formally accepted for publication in ACP. The paper was selected as a highlight paper by the editors. It has been a long journey, and big congratulations！
On March 24, GIG announced the awards for best scientific achievements of 2022. The group’s serial work on the dual-carbon isotopes of diacids as a powerful tool to explore the sources and formation mechanisms of aqueous secondary organic aerosols (aqSOA) in China was selected as one of the three top annual achievements. Congratulations!
On June 1-4, Zhu Sanyuan, Cheng Zhineng and Zhang Gan attended the Workshop on cosmogenic radio-nuclides in Xi’an (宇宙成因核素测量技术与应用青年学术论坛）. Zhineng and Sanyuan gave talks over the audience. We also specially visited the Xi’an AMS Centre (西安加速器质谱 中心）. The workshop will be a serial one, with Sanyuan and Ding Ping as council members.
