On March 1st, Gan and Shizhen attended the Sixth Environmental Analytical Chemistry Symposium in Wuxi. During their visit, they also had the opportunity to meet with Prof. Zhenyu Wang at the School of Environment & Ecology, Jiangnan University. They toured the advanced laboratory and engaged with Prof. Wang’s research group. The visit was further enriched by spending time in Wuxi with Prof. Zou and Mr. Zhang. Our sincere thanks to Prof. Wang’s group for their warm hospitality.
Bolong appeared in Guangzhou and visited the group. On February the 16th, several of us gathered and had dinner together in a Hunan Restaurant. Bolong started working in the S&T department of Xi’nan Jiaotong University in December 2024. We are all very happy about his success in securing the job, and hope him all the best in his career!
On January 22, 2025, our research group held a productive full-day meeting to conclude the semester. All members presented detailed summaries of their research progress, shared challenges encountered during their work, and outlined plans for the upcoming academic year. The agenda included collaborative discussions on technical solutions and strategic goal-setting for 2025. Participants enjoyed a pizza lunch together, fostering informal conversations about ongoing projects. After the meeting, a subset of members continued their discussions over dinner to further strengthen team connections, accompanied by karaoke.
