On Dec 10, Shizhen and Guangcai were assessed by the committee for their promotion to associate professors. Many group members joined in a Hutaoli pub (胡桃里酒吧）to celebrate their success. Big congratulations!

ANSO MORATOXA program
On Oct 18th, we successfully defended our bidding for an ANSO project, MORATOXA (Monitoring and Risk Assessment of Toxic Chemicals in the Air ) in Beijing. MORATOXA stands for a well extension of our completed SCP program, by which we are able to collaborate with six of our partners along the Maritime Silk Road. The key topic becomes air toxics and their health risks. We could image more international travels, to different countries in Africa , South Asia and Southeast Asia~!
The 6th ICEPH
Oct 16-17th, several group members attended the 6th International Conference on Environmental Pollution and Health organized by Jinan University. The event took place in the Sunshine Hotel (阳光酒店) not far away from the institute. Zhang Gan and Shizhen gave presentations on the conference, respectively. Lele, Yingjian, Yuwei and Jianchu joined; this maybe their first international conference they attended.
