On October 31, 2025, four students from our research group participated in the 16th Graduate Forum. Lin Boji and Yao Chuxin were awarded third place, Xiao Yuwei secured second place, and Wang Weiru earned the first place. Their remarkable achievements reflect their dedication and exceptional academic performance. Congratulations!
On October 17th and 18th, eight students from our research group successfully carried out their mid-term defense and research proposals. Yingjian, wanzhe, siqi, xiaosong and zibing shared the progress over the past year, detailing key milestones and insights from their research. In addition, three master’s students, Xueling, Hangyi, and Yuxin, successfully presented their research proposals. These sessions provided a comprehensive overview of the ongoing projects and future research plans. The presentations were evaluated by an esteemed panel of experts, including Professor Zhang Gan, Zhao Shizhen, Li Jun, Zhong Guangcai, and Mo Yangzhi. The feedback and insights from the panel were invaluable in guiding the next steps of the research.
From September 15 to 17, Professor Kevin Jones visited our group. On September 16, he delivered an insightful lecture on passive sampling of organic chemicals across different environmental matrices, with particular emphasis on the application of DGT for detecting these compounds in water. Although Professor Jones is a familiar guest to us, his presentations are always refreshing, and we consistently gain new knowledge from his insights. His visit not only provided a valuable learning experience but also offered fresh perspectives for advancing our research on environmental monitoring.
