On April 30, 英健Yingjian (MSc)、雨薇Yuwei (PhD)、楚鑫Chuxin (PhD) did their degree viva. The assessment committee consisted of Professors Zou Sichun邹世春 of SYSU, Chen Da陈达 of JNU, Zhao Qin赵青 of Guangdong Institute of Ecological Environment and Soil, Li Jun李军 and 罗春玲Luo Chunling of GIG. The three gave nice presentations with confidence, and the defense went on smoothly. We had a party after the viva cerebrating their success. Big congratulations !
On October 31, 2025, four students from our research group participated in the 16th Graduate Forum. Lin Boji and Yao Chuxin were awarded third place, Xiao Yuwei secured second place, and Wang Weiru earned the first place. Their remarkable achievements reflect their dedication and exceptional academic performance. Congratulations!
From March 19 to 23, 2025, the “Soil Excavation Team”, comprising Fan, Buqing, Lingxiao, Kun, and Chuxin, conducted fieldwork at the Ziquejie Terraced Fields in Loudi City, Hunan Province. Renowned as a UNESCO-designed Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Site, these 2000-year-old terraces integrate ancient rice-farming practices with a unique natural irrigation system.
