On January 2-4, Shizhen, Jibin, Chunling and Gan participated the  1st Conference on Environmental Earth Sciences for Young Scholars in Shenzhen. Gan gave a plenary speech on ¹⁴CO₂ monitoring; and Shizhen introduced her research as a flash show.   Jibin manned a poster which was awarded best poster presentation by the conference. We had good talks with many people attending the conference, some of them are of our ‘old’ friends. It is a fantastic meeting for meeting with outstanding young people in environmental geosciences.
