Professor Kimitaka Kawamura from Hokkaido University visited the group. (2015.11.07)

Kimitaka Kawamura is a professor of chemistry in Hokkaido University. He visited our group and the VOC group, with his former postdoc Fu Pingqing and present postdoc Zhang Yanlin, on November 7th. His research mainly focus on physical and chemical property of aerosols, organic species composition, distribution, origin, transformation and long-range atmospheric transport, as well as climate effect.He has published nearly 300 publications in mainstream journals including Atmos. Chem. Phys, J. Geophys. Res. Atmos., and Environ. Sci. & Technol. His work was cited by other scholars in SCI-indexed journals near 10,000 times.

Professor Kawamura gave a lecture titled “Decadal and seasonal distributions of low molecular weight dicarboxylic acids and related compounds, and inorganic ions in the marine aerosols from the western North Pacific”.
