Paromita and Elvis’ new family

Paromita wrote to update her life and family. I see big change taken place, but happy to know that life is going on peacefully/normally after the roller ride. I am very happy to see the three lovely girls luckly staying with Paromita and Elvis the family. She has been promoted to professor and head of Centre for Research in environment, sustainability advocacy and climate change of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, in SRM University, at Tamil Nadu, India.

I would like to share the following updating message from Paro with all former and current group members. Cherish our life!

Dear Prof Gan, After a long time, I am writing you. Both professionally and personally I was taking some time to understand my new roles and responsibilities. I have now become a mother of three daughters. Last year was therefore a roller coaster ride for us but slowly things are taking the normal course. Unfortunately during the peak pandemic phase lot of kids lost their parents and me and my husband, Elvis is now the new parent to three little princesses who were left alone in a home after the death of their parents.  I can’t believe they are with us for just one year now. Life is way more beautiful and fun-filled with them around. They are our life-line and by God’s grace, everything is moving forward in our lives.

Me, Elvis, and our daughters Shayna (11yrs), Isha (9yrs), and Myra (7yrs) wish you to visit us someday in India with your family and my little ones get to see my stalwart mentor who taught me not only science but also special aspects of life.
