During September 18–19, several members of the Air-Omics group carried out a field sampling campaign at two industrial emission sites, focusing mainly on electronic circuit source (珠海紫翔&安捷利). The team systematically collected a wide range of environmental samples, including emission air, wastewater, soil, and tree bark, in order to investigate the release pathways and environmental impacts of industrial pollutants. This campaign also represents a key research task under their CAS pilot project, aiming to provide essential data support for understanding industrial sources of emerging contaminants and their environmental behaviors.

Farewell Dr. William Arko
On July 17, our dear friend William was about to leave China and return to his hometown of Accra. To bid him farewell, we gathered at the Sampling Building to capture many precious moments together. We also signed a farewell card filled with personal messages and heartfelt wishes, hoping that his journey ahead would be smooth and successful. Later in the evening, we held a warm dinner party to celebrate the time we spent together. As a final gesture, we presented William with the group photo as a token of our memories. We heartedly wish him success in Ghana and happiness in all his future endeavors!
