On January 19 of 2025, the Air-Omics team wrapped up a busy year with a celebration to mark the successful launch of the 2024 “咸鱼计划” (Fish Programme), their annual fish sampling and tissue analysis initiative for environmental research. The event doubled as a year-end party, giving everyone a chance to unwind and reflect on the team’s achievements. The night kicked off with a Sichuan-style dinner at a local restaurant, where the team dug into classics like sauce plate duck and spicy boiled fish. The shared meal was a chance to bond over good food and even better company. After dinner, the real fun began with a karaoke session that had everyone belting out everything from old-school classics to chart-topping hits.
