Returning the lunar regolith sample

On June the 12th afternoon, the team of three, Guangcai, Shizhen and Gan escort the lunar regolith sample back to China Lunar and Deep Space Expenditure headquarter (中国月球与深空探测中心) at Beijing. We applied the regolith sample (6,000 mg) for searching organic matters on the moon. We are proud that important progress has been, quite likely, made! We hope to announce our findings soon this year, despite huge amount of work in laboratory are still needed for more stories. I would like to record more pictures of this memorial moment.

Active air sampler in place at Nairobi

The mid-vol active air sampler dedicated to ANSO program has been setup at a rooftop on the campus of Nairobi University. This denotes a substantial progress of our ANSO program MORATOXA.  The Air-Omics made great efforts to bring this into reality. The sampler was configured and produced solely to our group, that with a small size but full function and robust. Shown in the picture are some familiar faces. We hope we can visit Kenya again.

Party for Three Graduates

On Jun 11th, after taking photos with all the teachers and students, three graduates –Zhang Jiyun(张霁云), Wang Shuang(王霜) and Zhang Ruiling(张瑞玲) feasted the whole group on tasty Hunan cuisine. We sang while enjoying the excitement and went back after enjoying ourselves to the full. School’s out, memories are past. Don’t ever doubt our friendship will last. Congratulations to three graduates!
