PhD viva of Wang Shaorui (20151118)
Wang Shaorui has successfully defended his PhD work! Congratulations! The title of his thesis is “Mechanism of halogenated flame retardants uptake and translocation in plants in co-contaminated soil with organic and heavy metal pollutants “. The members of the defense committee were Professors Yin Hua (chairman of the committee), Yu Zhiqiang, Peng Xianzhi, Bi Xinhui, Liu Chengshuai.Among them, Professos Yin Hua and Liu Chengshuai were the external committee members.Professors Zhang Gan ,Luo Chunling and some group members also attended the defence of Wang Shaorui.

Liu Junwen et al attended the International Radiocarbon Conference 2015 at Dakar, Senegal

The bianular conference is the top event for all people working on/with radiocarbon and AMS facilities in the world. Junwen, Sanyuan, Ding Ping and Wang Ning joined together the conference, and made their presentations.
Dr Xu Xiaomei (mid) , the ‘queen’ for radiocarbon technology, looks after the younger generation.
Dr Wang Ning of GIG, a waisted lady, works on historical radiocarbon records using corals.
Dr Ding Ping who currently manages most of the graphiote target systhesis work in GIG. He also works on radiocarbon of methane in the environment.
