We were invited to contribute to support the new academic journal of NSFC, the FMRE. Entitled ‘Radiocarbon isotope technique as a powerful tool in tracking anthropogenic emissions of carbonaceous air pollutants and greenhouse gases: a review’, the article has been a team work outcome. We designed/created/updated many new/classic figures. Congratulations to all authors!
On May 23, Jiaqi（王嘉琦）, Hongxin（姜鸿兴）and Buqing （徐 步青） successfully did their PhD viva. The assessment panel included Professors Chen Yingjun（陈颖军）, Tian Chongguo（田崇国）, Zhang Yanlin（章炎麟）, Chen Duohong（陈多宏）, Ding Xiang（丁翔） and Hu Weiwei（胡伟伟）.
Together, in the group we had also Li Qiqian (李启虔，PhD), Hu Beibei (胡蓓蓓，PhD), Xu Wenli (许文丽，MSc) and Zhang Qing (张庆，MSc) passed their viva these days.
Congratulations to the new doctors and masters!
Buqing’s paper entitled ‘Compound-Specific Radiocarbon Analysis of Low-Molecular-Weight Dicarboxylic Acids in Ambient Aerosols Using Preparative Gas Chromatography: Method Development’ has been accepted for publication in ES&T Letters. This is our second contribution to compound-specific radiocarbon analysis of atmospheric carbonaceous species. And it is the first paper to be published in 2021, with, maybe for the first time, Xiao-man-yao (the Guangzhou Tower) appears in the supplementary cover! Congratulations!
