POPs Forum 2019 in Guangzhou

On May 16-18, Gan, Biao, Wenwen, Huanfang, Lele, Liu Yi and Shizhen attended the POPs Forum 2019 hold in Guangzhou. Biao gave two presentations, one is on the isotope fractionation of dibromoethane degradation and another is about the PMOCs. Wenwen also presented her recent work on the nitrosamine pollution in Pearl River. This is also the first time for Lele and Liu Yi to attend an academic conference.

ATMYSC midterm workshop

On 28-30th of April 2019, the midterm workshop of National Key R&D Program of China “Towards an Air Toxic Management SYstem in China (ATMSYC, 阿特姆赛克: http://www.atmsyc.cn/) took place in Espring Hotel at Conghua. About 30 project members attended this meeting, including the project director, principal investigators and core research members. 10 principal investigators presented the general project progress, main achievements, issues met in the process of implementation, and next plan. This workshop greatly enhanced the interactions among project members and identified key breakthrough directions of next stage. Good luck to our coming midterm project panel review!

Happy April Fool’s Day

In order to celebrate the April Fool’s Day, our group had a great time staying together this evening. We enjoyed wonderful singings from our lovely mates. We also wish a sweet and happy birthday to our dearest Prof. Gan! May you have all the joy your heart can hold and all the smiles a day can bring.
