On May the 13th, Zhang Ruiling completed her PhD viva. The assessment panel included Profs Qi Shihua (祁士华Chair) of CUG-Wuhan, Zou Shichun (邹世春) of SYSU, Xu Weihai (徐维海) of SCIO， Peng Xianzhi and Li Jun of GIG. We had a celebration party in the evening, of cause with lots of fun and drinks. Congratulations to Dr Zhang Ruiling!
On May 13, William Arko had his PhD confirmation defense in GIG. The assessment panel included Profs Lee Sun-chueng of HKPolyU, Zou Sichun of SYSU, Qi Shihua of CUG (Wuhan), Shizhen, Jun Li and Gan Zhong of GIG. William will be working on POPs in the air of Ghana with specific concern on the influence from e-waste recycling activities in Accra and Kumasi. Hope he good luck with his PhD study!
