Habib visited GIG again

On Nov 15th, Professor Habib of University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, visited us again, though this time his trip was supported by Dr Li Xue of Hexin Spectrometer Co.  He brought his student, Ms Nigar to GIG for Collaboration.  Nigar will be with us for 3 months this time. During this visit, we discussed about detail field sampling plan in Bangladesh including PAS and AAS.

Meeting at Conghua

On Nov 11-12, several of us gathered in Conghua (从化) for the third round discussion on the POPs Geochemistry book. We had a successful workshop and also enjoyed the nice hotel named Yiquan International (逸泉国际) and hot spring there.

Li Qiqian awarded best oral presentation

On Nov 9-10, Li Qiqian (李启虔) was awarded best oral presentation on SKLOG Young Scientist Academic Forum’2017. He is among the 7 awardee out of 46 oral presentations. Qiqian has made systematic and great progress in the preparation and application of fungi for remediation of PAH contaminated soil. Congratulations!
