On September 10th, we took great photos with our amiable teacher Zhang Gan and Shizhen to celebrate Teachers’ Day and Mid-Autumn festival. We also prepared fragrant flowers and delicious pastries for all the teachers in our group.

Paromita’s paper ‘Antibiotics in sewage treatment plants, receiving water bodies and groundwater of Chennai city and the suburb, South India: Occurrence, removal efficiencies, and risk assessment‘ has been published in STOTEN. Liu Xin helped the study and managed the analysis of the samples.
Paromita Chakraborty studied as a PhD student in the group in 2006-2009. She is currently a research associate professor in SRM university of India, leading the “Environmental Science and Technology Laboratory” of SRM Research Institute.
