Guests from Ruhuna University of Sri Lanka visited GIGCAS (20150826)
Professor Tilak (left 2) Priyadarshana D Gamage will be the contact point for us to setup the air station at Matara, Sri Lanka. Here he was with the VC of Ruhuna University (Centre) and pro-VC (right 2). Our group joined the CAS-Sri Lanka Science & Education Centre Programme (中斯科教中心）, which is coordinated by Professor Wang Dongxia of SCSIO.

On October 8th, Dai Qing, Xiaofei and Su Tao did their thesis confirmation. Professors Peng Xianzhi, Bi Xinhui, Ran Yong, Luo Chunling, Jun Li and Zhang Gan made up the assessment panel. The professors gave pertinent advices on the research plans for their PhD and MSc thesis （开题报告）. It was also a specially themed group meeting.
