PAHs in Bangladesh by PUF-PAS published in AE

The PAHs results from the PUF-PAS sampling in Bangladesh has been published in AE, in the paper entitled ‘ Monitoring of atmospheric polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by
polyurethane foam-passive air samplers in Bangladesh: Source
apportionment and health risk assessment‘. The paper was written by Prof Habib of Dhakar University, and Aklima (with Prof Cai Minggang, affiliated to Xiamen University), who visited the group many times and deployed many of the passive samplers across the country with Habib. Shizhen finalized the manuscript and monitored the processes. All are of the best!

This is an ANSO MORATOXA project contribution.

Meet with Karu

On June 15th afternoon, we met Dr Karu of Peradeniya University of Sri Lanka, for research updating and a discussion about a new ANSO proposal. Huanfang gave a presentation updating the CKDu ancient water tank (AWT) results, which is fascinating. We want to work on more sediment cores and more analytes to further confirm the story. We then had a discussion on possible topic for the new ANSO proposal which will be submitted in mid July from the Sri Lankan side. Li Jun, Guangcai, Huanfang attended the meeting; Shizhen chaired the meeting. It is wonderful to meet old friend again, although online.
