WINNERS IN BADMINTON

GIG held a badminton competition on April 14th, in which 4 members of our group participated,including Sun Yue, Wu Zhaocheng, Xu wenli and Tian Lele.

Finally, Sun Yue and Wu Zhaocheng won the bronze medal in mixed doubles; Wenli and Sun Yue got the silver medal in women’s doubles; and Wenli ranked 2nd in women’s singles.

All great job, congratulations!

Happy April Fool’s Day

In order to celebrate the April Fool’s Day, our group had a great time staying together this evening.  We enjoyed wonderful singings from our lovely mates.  We also wish a sweet and happy birthday to our dearest Prof. Gan! May you have all the joy your heart can hold and all the smiles a day can bring.

The tasty birthday cake was selected by two adorable girls, Lele and Liu Yi.
Looking forward to sharing the delicate cake.
Dr. Zhong was singing a famous Cantonese song called “Friends”.

After 14 years

We took another picture almost at the same location as in May 2005 when Kevin first visited Gan at GIG.  Time flys whilst the great friendship has witnessed great success and collaboration between Lancaster and GIG!
