PAHs in Bangladesh by PUF-PAS published in AE

The PAHs results from the PUF-PAS sampling in Bangladesh has been published in AE, in the paper entitled ‘ Monitoring of atmospheric polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by
polyurethane foam-passive air samplers in Bangladesh: Source
apportionment and health risk assessment‘. The paper was written by Prof Habib of Dhakar University, and Aklima (with Prof Cai Minggang, affiliated to Xiamen University), who visited the group many times and deployed many of the passive samplers across the country with Habib. Shizhen finalized the manuscript and monitored the processes. All are of the best!

Lin Tian and Zhao Zhen visit the group

On August 24-26, Lin Tian and Zhao Zhen came back to pay a visit to the group for a discussion of collaboration between the two bodies. They visited the lab, and of cause had dinners and lunches together with several group members. They have at moment two MSc students visiting the group, and suppose to send more in the future. Time goes by and they stay well and have done well with their jobs in Shanghai Ocean University. In the picture there is Li Jing who the same as Zhao Zhen stayed in HZG in Germany with Dr Xie Zhiyong （谢志勇）; and Weiru one of whose teachers in Chongqing University was Wang Fengwen（王锋文） who studied with Professor Guo Zhigang （郭志刚）, as Lin Tian did. Buqing’s paper accepted by Nat. Comms.

On August 22, Buqing’s paper ‘Large contribution of fossil-derived components to aqueous secondary organic aerosols in China’ was officially accepted for publication in Nature Communications. There has been a long journey before the acceptation. We benefitted a lot from the reviewing processes and the high-quality requirements from the journal. Great congratulations!
