On March 2nd, Jibing invited us out for dinner to celebrate his new role as a father. On March 10, Tiangan visited the group to see Yangzhi off, as Yangzhi will go to Stockholm University for a one-year study. We drank too much alcohol that night that we even forgot to take a group photo.
Shizhen and Jibing were awarded 2022 Guangdong Outstanding Young Scientists projects （广东省杰出青年基金项目）, respectively. In the meantime, Nannan, Longfei and Yangzhi each was awarded a new general project（面上项目） by the Guangdong Natural Scientific Foundation. Congratulations!
PS. We had chance to have a small gathering to celebrate on Dec the 4th at Dongting Tujiguan, amid the cheers there was a wager set among us on the champaign of the Qatar World Cup!
On Sept 24, former group members Cheng Hairong and Jiang Yishan joined with Luo Chunling, Li Jibing, Jiang Longfei, Xu Buqing and Guan Guoqing who are attending a soil meeting in Wuhan. Memorial moment and nice picture!
PS: Occasionally, a group of four also gathered, at the same time, but in Guangzhou, after a meeting!
